The Pretty Little Liars star is expecting her first child with boyfriend Matte Babel, 38, and the couple has been documenting their journey into parenthood online.
Shay and Matte feature in a documentary series on her YouTube channel titled, Almost Ready, and her boyfriends opinions about her birthing plan has been landing him in hot water in recent weeks.
When Shay revealed she wants an epidural when she goes into labour and he appered to be trying to talk her out of it.
Am I partial to no epidural? Yes, he explained. Why? Because Im a hypochondriac. Im afraid of drugs.

He continued: My mum didnt use an epidural. I meet women all the time who didnt choose to use an epidural.
Shay hit back: Would you get a root canal without any drugs? But Matte argues a root canal is not comparable.
He replied: Youre not born to go through a root canal, as a woman, your body is genetically engineered to give birth.
Shay shocked fans when she revealed her pregnancy back in June.
She revealed her bare baby bump for all eyes to see and joked: Does this mean Im allowed to drive in the car pool lane at all times now?
