As many Sony PlayStation fans well know, the PlayStation Classic Mini is coming later this year and bringing with it 20 old school games originally released on the original PSOne.
If it wasn't already immediately apparent, this is PlayStations attempt to mimic the success of Nintendo's own Mini NES and Mini SNES systems that sold like hotcakes over the past twp Christmases.
The problem is we still don't know what games the PlayStation Classic Mini will contain. Well, actually we know a handful of titles.
So far from the 20 games coming we know that the following 5 have made the illustrious cut: Final Fantasy 7, Ridge Racer Type 4, Wild Arms, Jumping Flash and Tekken 3.
However, there is one classic PlayStation 1 title that we can potentially cross off that list of 20, following a recent PS4 announcement.

A few weeks back Descendent Studios announced it was going to release a reboot of the 1994 six-degrees-of-freedom space shooter Descent.
And this reboot is coming to not only PS4, but also Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, and Linux.
Though we personally loved Descent – and can remember it being one of our first PS1 games along with the likes of Jumping Flash – we're well aware it doesn't hold the same legacy as other iconic PS1 titles such as Destruction Derby, G-Police and more.
That's despite it being a critical and commercial success at the time.
So the news of a brand new game, for us, could mean Sony look elsewhere when selecting their final 15 games for the system.
