Katie Price recently checked herself into rehab at the Priory, seeking treatment for PTSD.
And, following the news, the 40-year-olds mum, Amy, lashed out at her ex-husbands for their behaviour, explaining they need to take responsibility, and accused Peter Andre of portraying himself like hes perfect.
An insider has now revealed the Mysterious Girl singer – who shares Junior and Princess with the Loose Women panellist – was upset by her words.
Peter will be really, really hurt by Amys comments, the source claimed.
Its just so upsetting. Peter doesnt want anything bad to happen to Katie and hes never opened his mouth and commented on what shes going through publicly.
All hes ever tried to do is help her, they added to The Sun. His kids come first at all times – theyre his number one priority and that will never change.

The news comes after Amy lashed out at the men in Katies life, accusing them of using her throughout their relationships.
Kieran [Hayler] almost destroyed Kate with his behaviour, Alex [Reid] has been as bad, and Pete likes to portray himself as perfect, she previously told the publication.
Kate is stupid for reacting, but these men need to look at how they are behaving and take some responsibility.
Peter has yet to address Katies rehab stint publicly, but has opened up about dealing with issues privately, in a bid to protect his children.
The 45-year-old – who also has two children with current wife Emily Andre – has temporary custody of Junior and Princess, and had been taking care of the pair for most of the summer, following his exs split from Kieran, and her money woes.
Im dealing with everything thats going on at the moment, but I think its very important to deal with these things privately and Im doing so, he told OK! Magazine.

Making sure my kids are protected and away from any negativity is my main priority.
I try to be as honest as I can be, but I do try and find a way to divert it. I just want to keep the kids protected.
