Nicki Minaj is feeling generous.
The Starships singer has kept her promise to pay Cosby Show actor Geoffrey Owens $25,000 – or nearly £19,000.
The 35-year-old vowed to pay the money on her Queen Radio show after someone tried to shame the actor by sharing a picture of him working at US grocery store Trader Joes following the axing of his show, the royalties of which was his salary.
Let me tell you something: This man is a whole fuckin legend in these streets, she said at the time.
Owens initially said he was devastated by the picture, but was warmed by the outpouring of support he received from the public after it went viral.
Now that Nicki has made good on her promise, the former actor has revealed that hes got big plans for the money.

He told TMZ: I would like to give this donation of $25k to the Actors Fund in memory of the late, great Earle Hyman – who played Cosbys father, Russell, on The Cosby Show, who lived his last many years and died at the Actors Home, (funded and run by the Actors Fund).
I am extremely grateful to Nicki Minaj for enabling struggling actors to continue pursuing their dreams.
Nicki told TMZ that shes pleased the money will be used for something Geoffrey is passionate about.
Im happy to be a part of a great cause, she told TMZ. I wish Geoffrey much success and want him to know how loved he is. Rest in Peace to Earle Hyman.
The woman who took the original picture of the actor has since said she regrets her actions.
The Cosby Show was pulled from TV networks after Bill Cosby was found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault. Today the actor was sentenced to 3 to 10 years in state prison.
