The makers of Arkham Origins are teasing a new Batman game again but is it the Court of Owls and will we find out about it this week?
It was Batman Day on Saturday, which apparently is something that happens every year, but this time it was the Caped Crusaders 80th birthday and it seems as if one of his presents was a hint at his next game.
Its nothing to do with Rocksteady though, who made Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight and have been working on a secret project for years which, although it may involve the DC universe in general, is not thought to be a Batman-only game.
Instead its from WB Games Montréal, who made Arkham Origins in 2013 and havent managed to release a single major game since, with rumours of multiple cancelled projects – all of them involving DC and most of them believed to be Batman titles.

Most recent rumours suggest theyre working on a game inspired by the Court of Owls storyline from the comics, and that could well be what these teaser images refer to.

Theyre static shots that appear for only an instant in a tweet WB Games Montréal sent at the weekend, to celebrate the B-mans birthday.
WB Games Montréal are actually working on two new games, one of which is apparently open world and the other of which is the rumoured Court of Owls game.
The most convincing Court of Owls tease was in late 2018 when a developer showed off a T-shirt that looks not dissimilar to the new teaser images.
