It's a good week for Nintendo leaks.
After news about the Nintendo Direct being held on November 1st leaked via GamingIntel, the site has published yet another leak related to the company.
This time, the rumour revolves around the impending announcement of a Nintendo 64 Classic – the next in line of Nintendo's Mini Classic consoles, following on from the immensely popular NES and SNES releases over the past few years.
The site's tip indicated “The N64 Classic Edition is going to be shown after the Smash announcements".
As per GamingIntel, this could mean one of two things: that the N64 Classic will be shown immediately after the Direct either today in a separate Direct later in the month of November.
GamingIntel has already provided accurate leaks based on the release dates of the last three Nintendo Directs, so the site's track record regarding leaks for Nintendo is well established.
We're eager to learn if this report, too, is accurate.
Further to the hint that GamingIntel has picked up, one Twitter user claims to have been given leaked images of the console from an unnamed source close to the company (via ScreenRant).
If the images – above – prove to be true, this could be the holiday release that will rival Sony's PlayStation Mini that only just had its full list of 20 games revealed.
Sony recently announced the PlayStation Classic, a mini PSOne console capable of playing 20 old school games from back in the 90s.
The console is PlayStations answer to the widely successful Nintendo NES and SNES Mini that Nintendo has been releasing over the last few years – albeit a little bit more modern.
The initial games that were announced for the console included Final Fantasy 7, Ridge Racer Type 4, Wild Arms, Jumping Flash and Tekken 3 – but many fans have since been wondering what else will be on offer.
