Shes spoken at length about claims of domestic violence, mental abuse, control and torture in her 10-year marriage to Stephen Belafonte.

Yet Mel Bs ex-husband says she cant provide a single shred of evidence that he was violent or abusive, three months after the claims were all dismissed by a Los Angeles court.

The producer has broken his silence on the bunch of lies Mel told in their high profile divorce – which was settled in August – and claims she used them to cover up her own drug addiction.

Stephen told DailyMail.com on Tuesday: She said horrifically bizarre things – that I beat her, I ran a pornography company, I was a sex trafficker, I beat our dog, random things to garner some attention.

I could not stop what Melanie started. She made these allegations to get a tactical advantage. She wanted everything, all the money and full custody of Madison.

Mels ex claims he presented 3,000 exhibits of evidence that proved she was lying, while Mel could not provide a single shred to prove the abuse.

Stephen and Mels 10-year marriage ended in divorce in 2017 but it wasnt until eight months later, in August 2018, that their settlement was complete.

The court decision meant that all of Mels previous abuse allegations had been dropped, and the pair would receive 50/50 custody of their biological daughter.

He now plans to sue the Spice Girl for defamation of character for the allegations printed in her deposition, which he believes were deliberately left out of her book, Brutally Honest.

What she does confess to in the book is the extent of her drugs problem, which Stephen thinks she was trying to hide when she claimed such horrific things.

He alleged: Melanie has covered up her drug addiction time and time again and throwing me under the bus is kind of the way that shes done it.

Mels autobiography opens with a failed 200-pill drugs overdose that saw her hospitalised in December 2014, on a night she was due to appear on the X Factors live shows.

She also admits that she had a six-line-a-day cocaine habit during this period.
