The Love Island winner has hinted she may have gone on Love Island because she failed to score a role in EastEnders alongside her famous dad.
Dani Dyer revealed that little tidbit as she and Jack spend yet more time with her family.
The 22-year-old has expressed a keen interest in acting and the reality TV show might have been a segway into the industry.
Speaking to the Daily Star on Sunday, she revealed she was turned down for a part.
I dont know about Eastenders. They wouldnt let me on it.
I think its because my dad is already on it [and] there would be a massive outrage, she added.
A source added that she had been devastated at being rejected because she really wanted to work with her dad.
They added that Dani was keen to get into TV after feeling fed up of working as a barmaid.

But never mind, shes getting plenty of opportunities to hang out with her dad, and her now famous granddad Bruv after she shared images of them all enjoying a Sunday roast.
Bruv become an overnight sensation since he appeared on the ITV dating shows Meet the Family portion, and if Jacks latest Instagram snap of them is anything to go by, theyre becoming quite the close-knit bunch.
Dani and Jack have been near inseparable since leaving the Love Island villa, and the pair recently moved into a flat together in Canary Wharf.
Dani also revealed that beau Jack is missing his old job selling pens, telling The Times he was keen to return to work soon after Love Islands end.
She said: When he came out, he was saying to my dad, “Im going to have a week off work, I reckon, and then Ill go back to selling pens.
And my dad was like, “No, Jack, its not going to work like that, mate. Youre going to have a different life now.”
Jack didnt realise. He genuinely said, “Dan, I think Ill have a week off,” and then he said, “Well, how about I go back a couple of days a week then?” And I was like, ”Jaaaack!!!!”
The 26-year-old, who is a massive fan of Danis dad, attended a West Ham football game with them not too long ago. Jack and his sort of father-in-law posed for a photo with their favourite lady at the London Stadium.

Jack and Danis relationship has gone from strength to strength since winning the fourth series of Love Island and scooping the £50,000 prize money. Jack finally had the pleasure of meeting Danis parents, Danny and Jo Mas, for the first time a week after leaving the ITV series.

And what was it like to meet the fam? Jack said on This Morning: Ive met him, and hes lovely, we had a nice takeaway. Any man who says theyre not slightly nervous to meet their girlfriends dad is lying!
But I was no more nervous than anyone else. I stuck with [calling him] Danny… They were lovely, they were similar to my family, really nice and welcoming, we had a right laugh.
