BENGALURU: LinkedIn, a social network for professionals owned by Microsoft, named Ashutosh Gupta as Country Manager for India, its second such appointment in six months.
Mahesh Narayanan was the country manager for LinkedIn for six months from January to June 2019.
ET is awaiting comment from LinkedIn on Narayanans surprise departure.
Gupta, who takes over from September, will report to Olivier Legrand, LinkedIns Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region and will join the companys APAC senior management team.
He will relocate to India from Singapore to assume his new responsibility. In addition to his country manager role, he will continue to lead the LMS Online Sales Organization for APAC and China.
