Fortnite's Fortnitemares event is coming to an end this evening and will be long gone this afternoon as Epic Games looks to wrap up their special Fortnite Halloween event with a spectacular event this eveneing.

It's not clear if the added PvE gameplay elements will return to Battle Royale in the near future, or perhaps be resurrected in the form of another LTM.

But we do know that the existing Fortnitemares event will be moving on.

Which might be disappointing for fans who might have expected the Fortnite Halloween event to hang around a little longer.

After all, the Fortnite Battle Royale Halloween event in 2017 lasted the whole of November. And by comparison, the 2018 Halloween event has only lasted a little over a week and a half.

Not only to give fans something else to strive towards but also, to introduce some new rewards for players too.

But these new challenges – and subsequent rewards – won't be available forever. Why? Because many of them require players to complete a challenge that is unique to the event, such as destroying Cube monsters, Cube brutes and more.

So, it goes without saying that you only have until 6pm today to get them wrapped up.
