Lindsay Lohan‘s holiday in Thailand could well have ended up on an episode of Sun, Sea & A&E thanks to a cheeky snake taking a nibble of her leg.
The actress took to Instagram to show off the fact she’d had a very lucky escape having received a nasty bite from a snake while staying on the island of Phuket.
Little is known about her altercation with the reptile, except for the fact she was on a hike when the leg wound occurred.
‘I got bit by a snake on a hike the other day,’ she told her followers while showing off the surroundings of her luxury accommodation.
‘The positive side of it is I’m OK. Happy New Year and God bless,’ she said, before adding: ‘My shamen told me it was good luck.’
GOOD LUCK?! Mate, that’s about as lucky as getting pooped on by a pigeon, or spilling a good wine. There are much better ways of finding good luck LiLo, that don’t involve almost losing a limb, or having to wash crap out of your barnet. How about just getting yourself a horse shoe or something?!

Thankfully either the critter wasn’t overly poisonous or she got treated quickly, as the actress didn’t seem too bothered about the implications of said snake bite.
But if that Shamen is right, it sounds like she really could do with a new good luck charm, as she’s apparently in a bit of debt and is being chased for around $100k (£75k) in taxes in the US, owed from the years 2010, 2014 and 2015. That snake bite was probably less painful than having to pay that bill.

The 31-year-old has left the US for a life abroad – she now splits her time between Dubai and London.
‘I love living in New York, but I do love the serenity and peace that I find living in the Middle East because there are no cameras in Dubai and I can actually focus on what I want to do in life,’ she told People.
‘I don’t always have to be scrutinized every second. I can have a private life and have a public life, but when I choose to. And I think that’s really important.’
