Capcoms monster-sized expansion will not only feature new creatures but offer free guardian armour for all players.
After huge success with Resident Evil and Devil May Cry last year its been a quiet E3 and Gamescom for Capcom in 2019.
But since their recent run of good fortune started with Monster Hunter: World them leaning heavily into promoting expansion Iceborne shouldnt come as a surprise.
To that end theyve just released a lengthy new trailer which focuses on Icebornes story and new Elder Dragon Velkhana and his ice abilities.
Other new monsters confirmed for the expansion include brute wyvern Brachydios, who was first introduced in 2011s Monster Hunter Hunter 3 Ultimate.
Brachydios has explosive slime attacks (hes the one with the stubby, florescent green arms), while all-new Elder Dragon Namielle uses water-based attacks.
Iceborne will be released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 6 September, with the PC version due in January 2020.
