Kim Kardashian has been getting all sentimental on Instagram.

Turns out the mum-of-four is just like us and has a penchant for holding on to little things like notes and birthday cards.

And Kim was clearly going through some of her old stuff recently, as she shared a snap of a sweet handwritten note her late dad Robert Kardashian had left for her when they were living together.

It read: Kim, Im at Lawreys for Uncle Larrys birthday. I have my pager Ill be home around 10 or 11. I love you Daddy.

Kim also shared pictures of cards she had given her dad Robert around 17 years ago on Fathers Day.

One card dating back to 2002 said: Dad – I just want you to know how much I appreciate everything you do for me.

A nostalgic Kim told fans that her dad had saved every card she ever gave him.

Robert Kardashian passed away in 2003, when Kim was just 22-years-old. He died aged 59 following a short battle with esophageal cancer.

Robert was a celebrated lawyer known for working high-profile cases, such as O.J Simpsons murder trial back in 1995.

Now Kim is hoping to follow in her dads footsteps as she is currently studying to become a lawyer and plans to take the bar in 2022.

Although, she recently revealed during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that dad Robert wasnt keen for her to delve into criminal justice. He wanted Kim to stay clear, telling her it would stress her out too much.

I told my dad years ago that I was really into criminal justice and he was like “This will stress you out so much, you do not really want to take this on.”

That hasnt stopped Kim from actively seeking prison reform in the US, though, and she has been helping former prisoners with their release from jail.

I think now having gotten so deep in helping Alice [Marie Johnson], Im really motivated to get to know the law more and fight for people who deserve a second chance like her, Kim said.
