Kris Boyson has admitted he got so depressed he ran onto a busy road and into an oncoming car.
The 32-year-old, who recently admitted to suffering from anxiety, said he felt weighed down by feelings of ominous doom.
Speaking to New! magazine, Katie Prices boyfriend said: I was in a nightmare. The only thing I could do to get out of the nightmare – and Ive only ever told my parents and a couple of close friends this – was run into the road into an oncoming car.
That was rock bottom. I thought it would end the pain. Thankfully my cousin intervened to stop me.
I wasnt thinking about suicide, I just didnt want to feel how I felt any more. I wanted the pain to stop.

Kris continued and claimed that Katie, 40, has her own trials and tribulations but feels she cant display any weakness.

He said: People think shes tough as nails and she plays up to that because its her coping mechanism. If she shows any weakness shell get eaten alive.
Kris said he first suffered from depression when he was 21 and decided to open up about his ongoing battle in the wake of the death of Love Island star Mike Thalassitis aged 26.
Mikes death was confirmed as suicide on Sunday 17 March, a day after his body was found in a North London park.
He told the magazine: I didnt know Mike, but his death is a wake-up call. People need to speak out about mental health and realise that its OK not to be OK.

Kris added that after the incident on the busy road, his parents took him to a psychiatrist who prescribed him antidepressants.
The news comes exactly a week after Kris arrived at court to face a charge of using threatening language towards a police officer.
