INFINITE, BIG BANG and Super Junior are just a handful of acts that won big at the 2017 Weekly Idol Awards, an annual event that honours major players in the K-Pop music scene.
The annual awards, created by cable TV network MBC Every1, rounded off its seventh year with an extravagant awards ceremony.

On hand to present the awards to the winners was MCs Defconn and Jung Hyung Don.
Superstar group BIGBANG scooped 2017 King General Best Moment Award, while Super Junior bagged the comically titled It’s Your Song But You Dance Really It Well Award.

Meanwhile, the rising star award went to all-girl group Red Velvet.
The Daesang (Grand Prize) of the evening was decided upon by – yep – playing a game of finding candy hidden in flour with their mouths, of course, with INFINITE, who are said to not have had any promotional material in the current year, claiming the top prize.
