Assuming its not a fake, an image of a protective covering may be the first proof that a new, smaller and cheaper, Switch console is real.

Despite there being no mention of it at E3, there have been rumours for months now that Nintendo is working on two new models of Switch: a smaller, portable-only version and a new, slightly more powerful edition.
Theres never been any evidence of either but, if its not a fake, the above image may be the first evidence that the Switch Mini is real.
Its purportedly a silicon glove for what the box describes as a Mini Switch, but other than company Big Ben being a legit third party peripheral seller theres little more that can be discerned from the photo.
The source is German website WinFuture, which names only a reliable source as an explanation of where the image came from.

The second, rendered, image is obviously taken from the front of the box but its a much higher resolution than the box photo, so whether its a separate leak or something the source created themselves were not sure.
