Which one of these is the bot? (Picture: Epic Games)

Fortnite is trying to make things easier for inexperienced players, with the introduction of bots in the next update version 10.40.

Epic Games is not only adding bots to Fortnite, theyre revamping the matchmaking system to try and ensure newcomers dont get picked on by more experienced gamers.

The implementation of bots is mostly for new players who are getting into games with good players and instantly being eliminated. But with computer-controlled enemies, referred to as bots, they can hone their skills and, as they play more, bots will appear less and less as they move on to higher-skilled matches.

Details on the matchmaking are still very vague but according to Epic, you will be more likely to match with players of similar skill, and as you get better, so should your opponents.

We're making improvements to matchmaking beginning in update v10.40.

According to Epic Games, after the update has gone live everywhere they will release information about a schedule.

Theres no date for the update yet but if it follows Epics usual pattern itll probably be tomorrow.
