Don't worry, if your Instagram isn't working, it's not just you – the reason for the malfunction is because the app is down for many users across the world.
The Facebook-owned photo-sharing site has left thousands unable to check their photo feeds this Friday evening with many more venting on fellow social media sites.
Down Detector shows that reports of problems have been coming in since about 2:50 pm (ET), with a spike in reports of over 3000.
This appears to be impacting both the desktop and mobile platforms, with users reporting an error message for those who attempt to access it.
More than 3,000 reports have come in since the problem first became apparent at 2:49 p.m. (ET).
People have been checking Twitter to reassure themselves they weren't the only ones affected and the official Instagram page hasn't mentioned any issues at the time of writing.
