Epic Games has announced that the android version of Fortnite is now open for anybody to download and play.

The mobile game had initially launched on iOS towards the start of the year and then became available on certain Samsung Galaxy devices.
It is recommended that players have Android 8.0 or later to ensure good performance when playing the game.
Here are all the details you need to know about how to download the game and if your device is compatible.
How to download the android beta
The game isnt available to download through Googles Play Store so if you want to access it you will need to go directly to the Epic Games website.
If you go on the Fortnite android page on your mobile phone you will then be given the option to download and install the game.

You will need to confirm that your device is compatible, as well as enable unknown sources in your settings, which you can find under settings and then lock screen and security.
Once this is done you just need to select download to get started.
