Think spicy mac and cheese with a generous dose of chilli padi from Mama's Boy Bakes at Amoy Street Food Centre; fried carrot cake with bacon cubes from Carrot Cubes in Ang Mo Kio; and sambal prawn linguine from Shaker Lakers at Yishun Park Hawker Centre.
