Fortnite has teased another crossover with the Marvel Avengers universe with a new tweet showing one of their characters holding Captain Americas shield.
The picture included the line Whatever it takes, along with the date of 25 April, which looks to be when players will see the new update.
It is something that will excite Fortnite and Marvel fans, as the new event will start around the same time that Avengers: Endgame will be premiering in cinemas.
It wont be the first time that there has been a Fortnite and Avengers crossover, as during the release of Infinity War there was a Thanos-themed game mode.
The Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup let players become Thanos and use the infinity gauntlet to defeat opponents.
Its possible that something similar could be introduced in the new Avengers event, although it is unlikely to be the exact same game mode.

Captain Americas shield in the first poster for FortnitexAvengers suggests that this time players could get to take the roles of the heroes instead of the villians.
