Fortnite Season 6 is coming to an end which means Season 7 is just around the corner.

Players can look forward to a new Battle Pass, complete with new theme and map changes.

While Epic Games has kept their cards close to their chest, there are a few hints as to what could happen in the new season.

With the Christmas Season coming up it will no doubt be an eventful season.

When is the Fortnite Season 7 release date?

As usual Epic Games isnt revealing when Season 7 will come out just yet.

However, because of the Battle Pass countdown we can verge when the current season will end.

The in-game timer suggests Season 6 will end on December 6 and were expecting Season 7 to begin on December 7 or 8.

However, Epic Games has delayed the release of a season in the past.

Each season of Fortnite tends to last around 10 weeks, although delays have been known to happen.

For example, Season 5 was supposed to end on September 17, but Season 6 didnt arrive until September 27.

Either way, you can expect to see the new season of Fortnite before Christmas.

Then the new Battle Royale will likely run through until February 2019.

Fortnite Season 7 Theme:

Epic Games has not yet revealed what they have in store for Season 7.

However, there have been a few hints as to what the new season could contain.

Fans can expect a big event to happen at the end of Season 6, such as with Season 5.

Players were watching the Cube with baited breath as it made its way across the map, only to dissolve into Loot Lake.

Season 6 then set off with its own Halloween theme, with the biggest change being a floating island, Haunted House and Corrupted Areas.

Small events have already started to cccur, and it is expected there will be a “Winter theme”.

Players have already reported seeing new locations in rifts scattered across the map, which appears to be part of a new snowy area.

What time will Fortnite Season 7 start?

Players will be well-acquainted with the dreaded down-time which comes as a result of a massive update.

Epic Games usually begins server downtime for new seasons at 9am UK time, or 4am eastern, or 1am pacific time.

It is most likely Epic will stick to these times come December.

How much will the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass cost?

The Battle Royale game is free, but you will need this Battle Pass to unlock the additional challenges.

We expect the Season 7 Battle Pass to cost the same as Season 6.

The Season 6 Battle Pass costs $9.99 (£7.60) or 950 V-Bucks in-game – the same as the season before it.

Therefore, it would make sense if it cost the same come December.
