Fortnite Mobile Android update: BIG download news revealed for Epic Games next release
Fortnite on mobile has become such as huge success very quickly, but that's without the game releasing on Android.
The Android version of the game won't be coming this month and probably won't arrive for quite some time on the Google Play Store.
However, more recently the Epic Games development team did at the very least outline the reason behind the delays.
And apparently it has nothing to do with the game, but everything to do with the sheer extent of Android devices on the market.
Speaking to Forbes, Epic Games Nick Chester said:
“There’s a very wide range of Android devices that we want to support.
"We want to make sure Android players have a great experience, so we’re taking more time to get it right.“
It's possible that the development team are holding off for more details about the next big Android update, titled Android P, when full details about the upcoming operative system at Google IO next month.
God of War – Sony PS4 Exclusive Screenshots from Santa Monica Studios
God of War is an action-adventure video game series loosely based on Greek mythology, originally created by David Jaffe at Sony's Santa Monica Studio.
In the meantime though, things couldn't be better for Epic Games Fortnite mobile iOS release.
The app launched at the tail end of last week but topped the iOS charts in 47 countries less than 24 hours after launch and ranking within the top 10 in 58 countries.
But now it's being reported that players spent $1 million on in-app purchases within the first 72 hours.
According to data released by Sensor Tower, the Battle Royale game has now amassed over $1.5 million worldwide.
The same report also identified that sales were based on cosmetic in-app purchases only, which is roughly a third of the revenue that Pokemon Go earned in its first four days.
Not bad, especially when you consider it has been released as 'invite only' and not released to the wider public.

Email invites will start rolling out "soon thereafter" but no official date has been shared just yet. However, Paul Tassi, a journalist over at Forbes, has stated the following in a recent article:
“I spoke with Epic Creative Director Donald Mustard who told me that the initial codes will be going out later this week instead”
When you are invited, you will receive an email with a link to download the game from the App Store. If you don’t receive an invite right away, don’t worry, Epic will get round to you eventually over the coming months.
Players who do receive invites from Epic will also get additional friend invite codes to share with friends.
