FORTNITE DOWNTIME – UPDATE 1

Fortnite Update 9.20 Patch Notes have dropped and downtime for update v9.20 has also started.

This means all servers across all platforms and modes will be offline whilst the new update is released.

The Headline changes to the game appear to be the new Storm Flip Item, the hunting Rifle which has now been vaulted and a new function that allows users to undo purchases if you accidentally buy an item from the store.

There are however a few details worth noting:

  • Immediately after you make a new purchase you will be able to Undo this item purchase for a limited time as long as you stay on the purchase screen.
  • After you Undo a purchase, there will be a cooldown on using Undo on that same item, but you will be able to Undo any other new purchases!
  • If you choose to Undo a purchase, the ownership of that item will be revoked and you will be granted back the appropriate V-Bucks.

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what's new in the game.

Original Story – Fortnite Update 9.20 Patch Notes will be dropping shortly as Epic Games prepare to take the game offline across all platforms.

This is for the new update releasing June 6th, uncharacteristically a little late this week, but still set to drop none the less.

So you can look forward to (potentially) a slew of new features, new skins, plenty of bug fixes and more across all game modes including: Battle Royale, Save the World and Creative.

On top of this though, we already know there's plans to release a new Storm Flip Item, but at the time of writing there's very little info as to exactly how it will work within the game itself.
