FOOTBALL MANAGER BETA UPDATE 2 – The Football Manager 2019 Beta is now live, as confirmed by the developers Sports Interactive last night.

Writing on the official Football Manager Twitter account last night, the team told fans:

"The #FM19Beta is now available to Install on Steam for those who purchased #FM19 from a participating digital retailer."

And from the sounds of those who have jumped in early, the game is getting a solid reception from the fans. Here's just a few of the happy customer reactions:

"Got to say, @FootballManager looks amazing and has new amazing features added in. Worth getting. #FM19"

"First time Ive ever been able to choose @sloughtownfc officially in @FootballManager! Happy days. The traditional #watfordfc first save will have to wait a while @milesSI!"

"#FM19 is the best looking @FootballManager to date, it looks absolutely amazing!"

FOOTBALL MANAGER BETA UPDATE – The Football Manager 2019 Beta release date has just been revealed by Sports Interactive and the good news is that the pre-release public Beta for FM19 is available this evening on PC and Mac.

Here's the full press release with all the key details:

"Anyone who has pre-purchased FM19 from a SEGA approved digital retailer can log into Steam and launch the Beta this evening from their Steam library. Its not too late to get access to the pre-release Beta either. Anyone who pre-purchases FM19 between now and the games release on Friday, November 2nd from a participating digital retailer will immediately see the Beta added to their Steam library.

"The pre-release Beta is a near complete (but not final) version of the game, so players may encounter some bugs and issues. Online play is enabled, but there will be no access to the Steam Workshop or either the pre-game or in-game editors until the games full release on November 2nd.

"With major revamps to training and tactics alongside a debut for the Bundesliga license and a brand-new look, FM19 promises to be the greatest release in the series history. Whats more, careers that are started on the pre-release Beta can be carried over into the full release."

There's still no official time for the release of the beta, but stand by as we might be getting more specific details about the release very soon…

Original Story – The Football Manager 2019 Release date is edging closer with every passing day, but for those die-hard fans who simply can't wait for the game to hit store shelves (and mobile) there's good news.

The Football Manager 2019 Beta is coming THIS WEEK. Yup, wave goodbye to that weekend because your services in the digital dugout are required elsewhere.

The official FM19 Twitter account confirmed the beta release with a tweet that teased fans and simply read:

"When you find out it's #FM19Beta week…"

The above was posted along with a video, perhaps nudging fans to turn on notifications for further news, and as you might imagine the tweet blew up amongst fans desperate for more info.

However, all they found was further teasers. Thankfully we have a fairly good idea on when you'll be able to get your hands on the beta. So read on for details and further information about the game.

So far the team at Sports Interactive have remained fairly tight-lipped about the release date for the beta.

However, SEGA has teased that the beta will be available "roughly two weeks prior to the official street date".

As such, we're expecting the beta to launch on October 19th. Which is precisely two full weeks before the games full release.

The only question mark remaining is whether this beta will go live at midnight on the dot or at some later stage.

Look, if you already know you're going to buy the full game on release you might as well dive into the beta.

Why? Because Sports Interactive has confirmed that single player careers started in the Beta can be carried across to the full game.

You don't even have to do anything either, because the Beta version of FM19 will automatically update to the full version on November 2nd 2019.

The real question is why wouldn't you want to play the game two weeks early in the Beta?

Easy. All you have to do is pre-order the game through a SEGA approved digital retailer to gain access to the fully-playable Beta.

Not sure where to buy the game from. No trouble, Sports Interactive has pulled together a list of SEGA approved digital retailers only.

Simply check here for an exhaustive list of digital retailers and more details as to what constitutes a SEGA approved retailer.
