Fleetwood Mac have followed the Rolling Stones in pulling out of next month's Jazz Fest because of illness – meaning the festival has lost its second headline act.
The Stones were forced to cancel their headline set at The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival after Mick Jagger, 75, underwent heart surgery.
Fleetwood Mac were drafted in as replacements to star on 2 May, but their appearance has now been scrapped because singer Stevie Nicks has the flu.
The band have cancelled further dates as the 70-year-old recovers – effectively ending their tour of the US and Canada.
Fellow band member Mick Fleetwood said: "The flu has sidelined Stevie for a couple of weeks but she is on the mend and we look forward to getting back out on the road. We so apologise to the fans, but we are working on rescheduling."
