Demi Lovato is doing really well with her recovery after overdosing this summer, reveals her sister Madison De La Garza.
The Sober singer was rushed to hospital in July after suffering an overdose at her Hollywood Hills home and has spent time in a Chicago rehab facility since.
Now, the pop stars younger actress sister, Madison, has spoken out to share an update on the singers health.
Madison, who is best known for starring in Desperate Housewives, appeared on Millennial Hollywood with Dakota T Jones on Sunday, and said: Demis doing…shes doing really well.
Shes working really hard on her sobriety and were all so incredibly proud of her… Its been crazy for our family. Its been a lot. Um but weve been through a lot together and every single time, I mean if you read my mums book you would know.

Madison continued: Every time we go through something, we always come out on the other side a hundred times stronger than before. And so weve just been um weve been so thankful for everything. For the little things.
Demi, 26, was spotted out and about for the first time since her overdose in September, enjoying some fresh air with a female friend in Los Angeles on a day pass from the rehab clinic.
Although Demi has not been released from rehab yet, Madison, 16, is already thinking about the fun activities she can do with her older sibling.
Madison told Dakota: I guess Im really excited to… I mean there are so many little things. It sounds so small, but go to [frozen yogurt spot] Menchies… Honestly, Im more of a Pinkberry person, but she likes Menchies and so we like we usually go there.
Demis mother, Dianna, recently spoke out about her daughters recovery and shared a similar sentiment to Madison. Dianna revealed that the singer is happy, healthy and getting the help she needs, adding: That in itself encourages me about her future and about the future of our family.
The Sorry Not Sorry singer has kept out of the spotlight since her ordeal, but did reassure fans she was seeking help to overcome her addiction.

In an Instagram post in August, Demi said: I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What Ive learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time…
I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery. The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side. I will keep fighting.
