Dani Dyer has responded to fan criticism over images of her chilling on a beach with her friend, a day after cancelling an appearance in Birmingham.
The 22-year-old Love Island winner posted a series of Instagram shots of her at the beach, one accompanied with the caption, Sun and your best friend 
In a cautionary tale against using social media when calling in sick to work, Dani bore the brunt of many angry fans on the post, before she disabled and deleted the comments.
Initially, Dani responded to some of the comments.
In a now-deleted comment she said: I make time for everyone and sometimes I need time for myself and my friend please understand that. I dont ever cancel anything unless I really cant attend something. So dont judge PLEASE!!

On her subsequent post, many fans were quick to defend the Love Island star including the ever-loyal Georgia who commented saying: I love you soooo much u sexy human.
Jack and Dani were booked to make an appearance at the Bullring and Grand Central shopping centre in Birmingham on Thursday but dropped out hours before due to ill health.
The previous day marked the launch of Danis In the Style clothing launch.
Were big advocates of taking some time out from work, but its always nice to give people a bit of notice…
