Arts and culture offerings in Singapore have slowly, but surely, become more inclusive over the past few years – with more attention paid to children with special needs.

The National Museum of Singapore introduced a Quiet Room last month. The 25 sq m space is for kids who need a calmer environment. Designed with children on the autism spectrum in mind, the womb-like space offers options to adjust the lighting and has soft cushions for them to hug.
