Anthea Turner has been pictured being pulled over by police after a taxi driver claimed she failed to stop following an alleged accident.
The 58-year-old was seen gesturing animatedly against the claims after a black cab driver near Londons Knightsbridge alleged that her car had hit his car; it is illegal to not stop after a vehicle accident in the UK.
Metro.co.uk has confirmed with Met Police however that upon inspection, the taxi driver was satisfied that no damage to his vehicle had been sustained and no complaints nor further action were taken.
Anthea was pulled over on Friday after the cab driver reportedly flashed his lights at Anthea, indicating he wanted her to pull over so they could talk following the alleged incident.
The cab driver flagged down a passing police car who made a U-turn, and pursued her to Pont Street where they pulled her over.
Picture taken at the scene show Anthea gesturing animatedly towards her car and smiling with the officers before she drove off.

Anthea first appeaed on Blue Peter in 1992, and by the time she left in 1994 became one of TVs highest paid presenters. To this day, she is still remembered for her work on the show but in July it was revealed she had signed up to take part in a new TV show where she would face solitary confinement.
Celebs in Solitary is a spin-off from last years In Solitary series, which put members of the public in the confinement rooms to monitor their responses.
