Its been a dramatic week for Charlie Sloth.
Last week the (former) BBC Radio 1 DJ was let go from his gig presenting The Rap Show and The 8th on the station after he pulled a Kanye and had a go at Edith Bowman after she beat him to a gong at an awards show.
The presenter shocked attendees of the Audio and Radio Industry Awards (ARIAs) ceremony as he invaded the stage in protest of Edith winning an award over him when Soundtracking with Edith Bowman won over 1Xtras Rap Show in the Best Specialist Music Show category.
He stormed on stage and shouted into the mic: Edith Bowman… fuck your life. I just wanna say BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Saturday night Rap Show. Fuck your life. God bless.
That was swiftly followed by the BBCs announcement conforming that Charlie will not be completing his final shows as planned – after he was taken off air.

Now all eyes are on the presenter as its since been alleged his public profile is somewhat dissimilar to that of his real life, with punters claiming Charlie is actually 37-years-old and not the proclaimed 31 he has been touting.
His past has also been dredged up, with disputing reports he grew up in a £600,000 council flat above a shop in Camden, and not the closest thing to the ghetto in London as was once proclaimed in The Source magazine.
Age is but a number, sure but according to Mail Online, Companies House records show Charlie – born Ian Rouillon – to be aged 37, even though his Wikipedia page shows his age to be 31.
His page states he was brought up in the tough area of Somers Town, before finding fame as a rap and hip hop artist online, then going into a career on the airwaves with a nearly-10-year career with BBC.
Sloths age was allegedly changed to 37 after news emerged in regards to his DOB, however not long after, Mail Online claimed it was altered to return back to 31 by a user with an internet address registered in the Northamptonshire countryside, which is where the presenter lives with his family.
Come Monday morning, however, it has since been edited to 37, with his DOB 20 August, 1981.
Suddenly, weve got whiplash.
Over the weekend the Beeb released a statement confirming Charlie would not be returning to his post, that read: We have agreed with Charlie Sloth that he will not be presenting any further editions of The 8th and The Rap Show for Radio 1 and 1Xtra. New presenters will be announced for both shows in coming weeks.

Following the onstage fracas, Charlie took to social media to apologise for the move, which he claimed was only meant to be a bit of bants.
Soooo the Arias … it was supposed to be a bit of bants with me jumping on stage, starting with me saying “ok ima let you finish” it wasnt directed at Edith, he said. I love Edith and like I said so does my Mum. Ive apologised to Edith privately, Im sorry to anyone I upset.
