Red Dead Online is set to become available just a month after the release of the main game and it looks like Rockstar Games has plans for it to expand and evolve over time.

The online version of the game will put players in shared worlds where they can interact with each other as well as create and customize their own characters.
You will be able to play on your own or with friends as well as form your own posse to take down other gangs as well as hunt for treasure and complete missions.
Rockstar has said that it will be a mix of the classic Red Dead Redemption online mode along with everything they have learned since then, most likely from the popular GTA Online mode.
How to play the Beta
The online beta will be released periodically throughout this week but everyone who owns Red Dead Redemption II will be able to play the online mode from Friday 30 November.

Once the online mode is released you will be able to access it from the title menu when you load up the game.
You should be able to see an option in the top right of the screen to select online and then you can get stuck in to the online mode.
The beta version will give Rockstar developers thew chance to address any issues that occur for players during the early stages.
When can you play Red Dead Online?
The release date of the online version of the game will be staggered across this week, which will prevent the servers from crashing with everyone trying to access it at once.
If you bought the Ultimate Edition of Red Dead Redemption II then Red Dead Online will switch on at 1.30pm today in the UK.
If you only got the normal edition but you bought it day one (October 26) then youll be able to play it the next day: Wednesday, November 28.
If you didnt buy the game on day one but did get in its first weekend (i.e. anywhere up to October 29) then you can play on Thursday, November 29.
And then finally everyone else can join in on Friday, November 30.
