Jeremy Piven is said to have left attendees of a Hollywood charity event stunned when his jokes fell flat and he yelled expletives at the unappreciative audience.
The event for charity Face Forward was being held for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, but when his jokes were not well received by the audience the 53-year-old actor reportedly yelled fuck you all.
As the crowd failed to respond, he allegedly ranted: This is a tough room by the way. Tough room. Oh I knew it. I knew it. I just decided Im doing a two hour set because youre not giving me love. So fuck you all.
The Entourage actor opened his act by joking: Met a guy today who said, Bro Im a big fan. Im a douche bag because of you.

Do they do this to all actors you guys? Do they go up to the great Bryan Cranston, Walter White, and do say I sell meth and kill people because of you? No they dont.
He continued: Do they go up to Kim Kardashian and say, I do absolutely nothing because of you? Do they go up to Justin Bieber and do they say, Im a lesbian because of you.
He also regaled the crowd with tales of rehearsing inappropriate lines with his mother, to which its claimed only three people laughed.
Jeremy then allegedly eventually decided to call time on his act, telling the crowd: I just decided to retire based on this applause.
One attendee told MailOnline: He was surrounded by women who had been through abuse, domestic violence, mental torture from their partners and even acid attacks. The mood in the crowd was one of defiance.
But he seemed to treat the night as some kind of try out for his stand up work, and it fell flat.

However, an organiser of the event said the actor had been great and that the lack of crowd response was due to a noisy room with lots going on.

He was gracious, hilarious, conscientious of the room and respectful to the founder and our audience, they said. The room was loud and full of 700 people being served dinner and not always paying attention to what was happening on stage including the honorees.
They continued: Part of his act was to be self-deprecating and combative… he was warming up the crowd and communicating with the founder asking how racy he could go and the crowd yelled ”bring it on!”
If you take any joke from any comic out of context it would look inappropriate but it wasnt and at the end of the day he helped us raise over $500,000 (£380,000) to help victims of DV and HT.
Reps for Jeremy Piven have been contacted for comment.
