South Korean boy band Super Junior are set to make a reality TV comeback with the group launching their own show called Super TV.
Fans of the group may reportedly be given the chance to meet SJ in the band’s new variety show which is due to launch sometime mid-January.
The bands agency, Label SJ Entertainment, announced the news on January 2 saying: ‘The members started filming last month. They briefly stopped shooting following the recent tragic news, but they will resume filming.’
The bands leader shared that his ‘heart aches’ in a letter to his late friend Jonghyun from the band SHINee who took his own life on December 18.
The star wrote: ‘I don’t think there’s anyone else who could say that they knew you better and shared everything with you. A person’s loneliness, anger, sadness… Whether it was because you had no way to express these things and made your final choice, or whether it’s something you wanted to tell the people left behind, I’ll have to really ponder over this for a while.’

Super Junior’s Super TV is set to air on XtvN – a new entertainment-focused channel launched by entertainment company CJ E&M.
SJ are no strangers to reality TV however, with the band having appeared in a previous reality show named SJ Returns — Super Junior Real Comeback Story back in October last year.
