SINGAPORE – Chef Akane Eno, who opened her kappo restaurant Ichigo Ichie last month, is probably the only woman helming a fine-dining Japanese restaurant here.
Her restaurant had started as a weekly pop-up at Sushi Kimura in Palais Renaissance, where she was previously the sous chef.
