Pokemon GO Shiny Nidoran: How to catch Shiny Nidoran during Pokemon GO Fest Dortmund Event (Pic: NIANTIC)
Pokemon Go players, get your balls ready and keep your eyes peeled – a new Shiny Pokemon is now available in the game.
A Shiny version of Nidoran (M), the Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I, is coming to Pokemon Go this week to celebrate the start of Pokemon Go Fest in Dortmund.
As a celebration of the game's third anniversary, we've seen the Shiny rate of Pokemon drastically increase over the last week (since June 28). Players may have seen more Shiny Rattata, Sandshrew, Vulpix, Diglett, Meowth, Geodude, Grimer and Exeggutor as the game celebrates its third anniversary.
And now, you can even catch a Shiny Nidoran (M) – there's no word on increased Shiny rates of the female Pokemon, though.
So make sure you tap on each Nidoran you see – the Shiny rates we've seen have certainly been increased by quite a lot, and it never hurts to have as many Shiny 'mon as possible.
The new Shiny Pokemon was added at 9am today, UK time.
