French President Emmanuel Macron will meet with Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg on Friday in Paris, according to the presidents office.
They will talk about Facebooks partnership with the French government on tackling hate speech online, an Elysée palace official told POLITICO.
Launched in November last year, the experiment gives French authorities insight into Facebooks processes to remove harmful content on its platform.
The experiments conclusions will be handed to Cédric O, Frances new junior minister for digital affairs, on Friday.
Meanwhile, France has announced draft legislation that would force platforms such as Google, Facebook and Twitter to remove hateful content within 24 hours and would be on the Parliaments agenda in coming months.
