Judge Brett Kavanaugh on Monday confirmed the fact that President Trump “is going to stand by” his nomination to the Supreme Court amidst multiple last-minute allegations of sexual assault from decades ago.

“Do you believe that President Trump is going to stand by you throughout?” asked Fox News host Martha MacCallum during her Monday night interview with Kavanaugh and his wife.

“I know hes going to stand by me,” responded an emotional Kavanaugh. “He called me this afternoon, and he said hes standing by me.”

As news broke Sunday night of another accuser who claimed, once again with no corroborating evidence or witnesses, that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a college dorm party, reports of a “calm” President Trump emerged from New York Times White House Correspondent Maggie Haberman.

“Per one person briefed on the discussions, Trump said this is why they should have been fighting the Ford allegations from the beginning,” reported Haberman via Twitter. (RELATED: CALM PRESIDENT TRUMP KNEW ABOUT ALLEGATIONS BEFORE NEW YORKER PIECE, IS STICKING WITH KAVANAUGH)

“We went through a whole hearing,” Trump said on Monday during a radio interview with Geraldo Rivera. “The hearing was over and then all of a sudden a letter that was being held by Sen. Feinstein emerged. It could have emerged much earlier. I think that was a shame.”
