Later this year, Bungie will launch its first full-on expansion for Destiny 2 since its schism with Activision earlier in 2019.
The new DLC – called Shadowkeep – will take players back to the Moon where the Hive has been licking its wounds and building up its strength since the events of the first game.
According to Bungie, the Moon in Destiny 2 will be twice as big as the Moon in the original Destiny.
Other than that – and the new video we've embedded below – there isn't an awful lot of information about the next D2 expansion out there… so you can look forward to Bungie drip-feeding us that over the coming months.
Bungie has revealed that Shadowkeep is a standalone expansion, so that means you won't have to trek through all the other content in the game if you want to drop back in for September's massive update.

Our first impression of the newly updated Moon is that the design team has done a stellar job updating the area for D2.
There seems to be a lot of places to explore and a lot of tucked away areas and places – similar to the Dreadnaught from earlier in D2 lore.
