Treyarch has just released a new Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Update today and it's already live on PS4 and Xbox One right now.
The PC release is to follow in the coming days.
This latest update is version 1.08 and you'll require 14GB of space to instal the update on PS4 and 22GB on Xbox One.
The new patch update brings Safeguard to Xbox One, which debuted on PS4 last week.
It's still not clear exactly what the new update brings to the game, although we have some theories.
First off, here's whats official. The new patch introduces the new Safeguard mode to Xbox One, which first debuted on PS4 last week.
In addition, Charlie Intel say that this update has fixed the Theater Mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 which was suffering from a glitch that "caused the mode to be unavailable."
Beyond this, we also have some theories as to what else might be hiding in the new 1.08 update.
It's possible this new update also contains a new Black Ops 4 Blackout addition to the game in the form of a new area of a change to the existing map.
Earlier today Neymar Jr, as in, the footballer for PSG, took to Instagram and might have leaked some new content coming to the game, ahead of a Black Ops 4 livestream he's taking part in this evening.
Fans noted that in his Instagram video he's standing in front of a poster for 'Hijacked', a Black Ops 2 map that is not in Black Ops 4 at the time of writing.
"This seems to be a new poster which has not what's in any prior Call of Duty promotional material," noted CharlieIntel.
"This looks to be a hint for a new addition to the Blackout map after lead designer, David Vonderhaar, recently mentioned updates were coming to the map."
Vonderhaar has previously said "we are more interested in adding/subtracting and morphing this map then making new maps”
So it's possible this new update contains a significant map update to Blackout introducing this new area.
