Apex Legends Patch Notes Update 1.1 CONFIRMED: Account Level Reset Sever problems reported (Pic: Electronic Arts)
A new Apex Legends update is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC as developer Respawn Entertainment takes the games servers offline after players have reported account resets and lost items.
Patch 1.1 is focused on quality of life changes as well as some new features and fixes. This includes minor tweaks to Octanes Jump Pad while ironing out issues players have had unlocking Battle Pass rewards, as well as Banner Cards not appearing during the post-game screen.
One major new feature feature fans have been asking for has finally been added to Apex Legends, too. After finishing a match, you will now have the option to party up with your previous squad and jump into another game instead of scouting out their online IDs and sending them a friend/party request.
Its not all good news, however. Since going live, fans have encountered severe issues with the latest update, some reporting that their progress has been reset and valuable loot has vanished.
Respawn is currently looking into the issue and it sounds like a quick fix is on the way. In a support team post, the developer said:
“We are aware of the reports of accounts being reset after the update and looking into it now.”
"We are going to start turning off servers as we do maintenance and we'll be updating this post with info as we look into this."
In the meantime, Respawn urges players not to buy or craft any items.

QUALITY OF LIFE
You can choose to allow invites or opt out in the Friends menu.
Additional behind-the-scenes improvements for squashing cheaters.
Added Mute button during the intro and Legend selection.
When using the Report Player button for PC, you now have the option of selecting Cheat or Other.
CRASHES
Added informative messages that appear on PC for crashes due to:
Added better collision to the turrets on Supply Ships.
Stability fixes to all platforms.
BUG FIXES
Fixed issue where the Battle Pass rewards page would not have a default item selected, resulting in a mostly blank page.
Fixed bug for PS4 and X1 where sometimes attempting to use a keyboard to chat could cause a fatal script error.
Fixed bug with Banner Cards not showing up during and at the end of a match.
