Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered 2: New game could look like THIS
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered was leaked on Friday (more details on that below the gallery), just in case you somehow missed the news.
As of right now there's no word if the retailer leak from Amazon's italian website is legit but you can be sure Activision certainly won't formally announce anything until they are quite ready.
It is, however, our first proper indication (albeit as yet unverified) that there could be a new MW2 remaster on the way. Unlike in the past 5-6 weeks which has seen multiple sites sprouting rumours seemingly out of thin air.
There's also signs, again, if you take with a pinch of salt, that Raven software are once again working on the remaster.
All you need to do is head over to their Twitter feed to see the new wallpaper they've installed in their office, which does seem to have a similar to the intro from the Modern Warfare 2 game.
Realistically then, what should fans expect from a Modern Warfare 2 Remaster? Well, assuming that Raven are once again taking the lead, then you're best indication will no doubt come from looking at how much of a bang up job the developer did with the original remaster.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered Comparison
Have a butcher at what Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered looks like compared to the original game released nine-year-ago.Activision
As players might remember, Activision and Raven didn't simply release a glorified HD upscale with a new lick of paint.
Instead, Modern Warfare Remastered was overhauled from the ground up and in a livestream shown a few months prior to release the developers said that the game would have:
"Fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio, stunning sound, and much more".
So, we would imagine that a similar standard of quality is what we'll get with a Modern Warfare 2 Remaster and equally we would guess that the results won't be too disimilar either.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered LEAK
Activision could be set to release a brand new Call of Duty Remaster, this time overhauling Modern Warfare 2. Here's a look at the leak and some screenshots of the game to jog your memory
ABOUT THE LEAK
with separate entries manifesting for Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game.
The release date attached to both is April 30 – do bear in mind however that April 30 is a placeholder date for Amazon and that this could be subject to change.
Listings for both versions of the game suggest prices of €19.99 (roughly $25 USD / £17 / $31 AUD), perhaps hinting that this will be available to everyone from the start at a budget price… rather than forcing users to buy this year's CoD project to enjoy the remaster.
There is no art attached to the images, and no boxart to speak of either.
