KATE MIDDLETON, 38, and Prince William, 37, both posted pictures with their father for Fathers Day on Sunday. While William chose a recent snap, Kate posted a throwback shot with her dad from when she was young.

In the image Kate is sat on her dad’s knee. Both wear blue jeans, while Kate wears a blue and yellow check top. Her fair hair is tied in pigtail plaits and she smiles at the camera.

Her father, Michael, sports voluminous hair and a beard, wearing a light blue check shirt.

Body language expert analysed the sweet snap for Express.co.uk.

Judi James told Express.co.uk: “The body language in this pose suggest the young Kate might have been as much of a bundle of energy as her own children are now.”

Like most children, Kate appears to be more interested in playing than sitting for a picture.

Judi noted “the way one hand looks set to launch her off her fathers lap while her eyes miss the camera to look off at what might be seen as more playful fun than posing up for a family photo.”

While Kate doesn’t seem camera shy, she clearly is disinterested in posing.

The image gives “no hints of her future destiny as one of the worlds most photographed women,” according to Judi.

The body language expert went on: “Although shes smiling theres no real trace of the dazzling pitch-perfect, teeth-displaying smiles we see from her now, while her dads very slight frown as he smiles suggests hes not perfectly relaxed and at home in front of the camera either, making them look very much like kindred spirits.

“His two-handed clutching gesture suggests hes incredibly proud of his daughter and keen to show her off to the camera but its also comprehensive enough to keep her in place should she prefer to wriggle off to play, too.”

Many drew a comparison between Kate and her youngest son, Louis, two.

One wrote: “Is that Louis or his mama?”

Another wrote: “Look at baby Kate.

Who is Kate Middleton’s father?

Kate Middleton’s father is Michael Francis Middleton.

His family had some distant royal connections, entertaining British royals in the 1920s.

However, Michael himself was not aristocracy but a member of the middle class.

He worked for British Airways, where he met his wife and Kate’s mother, Karen.

Kate and William posted images of Prince William, George, Princess Charlotte and Louis on their Instagram, also in honour of Fathers Day. The Duchess was praised for dressing the children in cheap high street clothes.

Prince George was dressed in a t-shirt he wore on his sixth birthday last July.

Princess Charlotte wore a pair of embroidered dungaree shorts, £10, from John Lewis.

In other news, Kate Middleton has been blasted for “peak privilege” by royal commentator.

The Duchess of Cambridge did a tour via video link for the Clouds House.

Clouds has been running since 1983 as a drug and alcohol addiction treatment centre.

Writer Bernadette Giacomazzo criticised Kate’s jewellery in an article for US online publication CCN.

The writer said: “Kate Middletons fashion choice was tone-deaf, at best.”
