Will Ferrell required medical treatment after an SUV he was travelling in crashed and rolled on a freeway in Los Angeles.
The actor, who is believed to have been in the vehicle with three other people, sustained minor injuries when a Toyota veered into their lane on Interstate 5 and hit the SUV's rear right side.
It lost control and overturned as a result of the collision, leaving two other males inside with minor injuries and a 27-year-old woman – who the California Highway Patrol said was the only one not wearing a seat belt – in a critical condition.
The driver of the Toyota was not hurt and the crash is being investigated.
Video posted by OnScene.TV shows Ferrell, 50, sitting on the side of the road talking to a firefighter shortly after the crash, which happened on Thursday night.
Another clip, posted by LA-OC.tv, shows him talking on a mobile phone as he sits on a stretcher, with firefighters loading him into an ambulance.
He had been appearing at an event in character as Anchorman's Ron Burgundy before the crash, according to photos posted on social media by attendees.

Comedian and actor Billy Eichner, who also appeared at the event, tweeted on Friday: "I wasn't in the car. Will and everyone are OK. Very scary but very thankful everyone is OK."
Ferrell's manager has not returned a request for comment.
