Football fans have less than a month to wait for the new FIFA game to be released and many are wondering what the new player ratings will be.

It has become a big talking point in recent years and is something that some footballers take very seriously.

Last year Cristiano Ronaldo secured the highest rating in the game with 94 ahead of the 93-rated Lionel Messi.

Eden Hazard was the only Premier League player to make the top ten in last years ratings and many fans will be wondering if that stays the same this year.

When are the FIFA 19 player ratings being revealed?

EA Sports hasnt yet confirmed when we will find out the new player ratings, but we can get an idea based on previous versions of the game.

In recent years the player ratings have been revealed within the first two weeks of September before the release of the demo version.

They are usually revealed over a number of days as part of a countdown of the top 50 players in the game.

When is the FIFA 19 release date?

FIFA 19 will be available from Friday 28 September on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Origin).

Players who pre-order the Champions Edition or Ultimate Edition of the game will able to get 3 days early access.

What are the new features in FIFA 19?

One of the biggest additions to FIFA 19 is the Champions League which is now licensed to be used in the game.

As well as having the Champions League tournament in kick-off and Career Mode, there will also be a Champions League mode.

Ultimate Team will also have updates based on the Champions League and Europa League

A new active touch system has also been added to the game and enables closer control of the ball, allowing more creativity and new options for first touches.

There are also new tactical options and players can have better control over scoring with a timed finishing system that has been introduced for FIFA 19.

50/50 battles on the pitch have also improved as a players reaction and the footballers attributes will help determine who will claim loose balls.

FIFA 19 will also include the final installment of The Journey, which is the story mode that lets players follow Alex Hunter as he tries to reach the top and become a football star.

Where to pre-order FIFA 19

The cost of the game will depend slightly depending on where you buy it and which platform you are buying for.

Game is currently selling the standard edition for £49.99 (£45.99 for Nintendo Switch, PS3 and Xbox 360) and £69.99 for the Champions Edition.

Amazon is selling it for the same price of £49.99 and the same £69.99 for the Champions Edition.

The online retailer is also selling a FIFA 19 PS4 Pro 1TB Bundle for £399.99.

Currently one of the best offers is through The Game Collection, which is selling the Standard Edition of the game for £45.95.

If you want to buy a PC version of the game you can do this through the EA Sports website which sells the game for its Origin service.

The Standard Edition is currently £54.99 while the Champion Edition is £69.99 and the Ultimate Edition costs £79.99.
