They were accused of shading Camila Cabello at last years VMAs when a fifth member of Fifth Harmony symbolically dropped off the stage during their live performance in 2017.

But the girlband were the ones feeling the burn on Monday night, as host Tiffany Haddish pointed out their absence at the 2018 ceremony in New York.

The presenter, 38, poked fun at the four-piece sitting at home while they watched former bandmate Camila accept five solo nominations.

After stumbling over the pronunciation of Camilas name, she said: Camila Cabello is nominated for five VMAs tonight – Im super proud of her.

So for those of you watching at home… “Hi, Fifth Harmony.”

Even co-host Kevin Hart was shocked that Tiffany went there onstage, as Camila cringed at the epic shade.

Camila, who left the band in 2016, picked up Artist Of The Year award and Video Of The Year, which she collected from the inimitable, Madonna.

The musician beat competition from Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Drake and Post Malone to become the second Artist Of The Year, after 2017 winner Ed Sheeran.

Accepting the prize, she said: I cant believe this is for me, thank you so much. Thank you so much to my fans, I love you guys so much.

Im fully aware that you never know when youre going to get a moment like this again, you never know when its going to be your last time on this stage.
