The reality show, which first aired on 3 November, showcases their relationship as they navigate the road from engagement to marriage and Michelles battle with depression is also discussed on the show.

In one episode, Chad said that he didnt like the fact Michelle brought up race the way that she did.

Michelle recalled: I said something to him on the lines of: “Well, Chad, because you are not black you would not understand why I communicate the way I do. Maybe because you didnt grow up around a lot of Black people.”

So that was very, very offensive to Chad.

Chad responded to Michelles point by bringing up the fact that the Grammy-award winner was on medication.

Michelle continued: And this is not to justify it, but yesterday when we had the disagreement, he said “Did you take your meds today?”

When Chad was asked for his take on things he said that it doesnt matter if you are black or white but that bringing up race in argument feels like the other person is trying to cut.

Chad, who is also a pastor, said he apologised for the remark and explained that he got mad about her bringing up their racial difference.
