The Settlers games has been going strong for 25 years, and its reign as one of the most enduring RTS series is set to continue.
Ubisoft today made not one but two announcements, revealing that it will release not one but two Settlers titles in the coming year.
Making a splash on day one of Gamescom 2018 the company announced a brand new instalment in the series, titled The Settlers, is on its way.
Giving little away about the game, they simply released a cinematic trailer which teased various elements of the game, though they did confirm that it will drop sometime in autumn 2019.
Keeping things nice and ambiguous for the meantime, the blurb for the game reads: Forced to leave their homelands after a devastating earthquake of mysterious origins, the Settlers set sail towards the unknown in the hopes of finding a new home.
