Donald Glover confirmed that his character Lando Calrissians sexuality is fluid in “Solo: A Star Wars Story” and labeled him “pansexual.”

The term refers to a person who is “not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.”

“How can you not be pansexual in space,” the 34-year-old actor said in an interview that will air Thursday on SiriusXMs Entertainment Weekly Radio.” “There are so many things to have sex with. I didnt think that was that weird.”

“Yeah, hes coming on to everybody,” he added. “I mean, yeah, whatever. It just didnt seem that weird to me cause I feel like if youre in space its kind of like, the door is open! Its like, no, only guys or girls. No, its anything. This thing is literally a blob. Are you a man or a woman? Like, who cares? Have good time out here.”

The comments came following ones made last week when one of the writers of the latest movie in the “Star Wars” franchise, Jonathan Kasdan, was asked if Glovers character was “pansexual.”

“I would say yes,” Kasdan told HuffPost. “Theres a fluidity to Donald and Billy Dees [portrayal of Landos] sexuality. I mean, I would have loved to have gotten a more explicitly LGBT character into this movie. I think its time, certainly, for that, and I love the fluidity–sort of the spectrum of sexuality that Donald appeals to and that droids are a part of. He [Glover] doesnt make any hard and fast rules. I think its fun. I dont know where it will go.”

Lando (played by Billy Dee Williams) was full of charm in the “Star Wars” original trilogy movies and even flirted with Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) right in front of Han Solo in “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.”

“Solo: A Star Wars Story” hits theaters May 25.
