Famous X Factor and Britains Got Talent warm-up man Ian Royce is combating an alcohol addiction, and his celebrity friends are chipping in for his treatment.

Judges Simon Cowell and Robbie Williams, along with singer Olly Murs have apparently pledged to pay for the comedians £20,000 rehab bill after he suffered a brain aneurysm whilst under the influence.

A good friend of Ians, James Mace, has set up a GoFundMe page to raise £20,000 so his mate can attend a rehab centre called The Priory.

According to the Mirror Online, Simon Cowells reps have confirmed he will help the star.

Robbie also expressed his support for the down on his luck announcer and said: Im happy to pay for your rehab, consider it done.

Murs, 35, has reportedly donated £2,000 to Royces appeal.

He wrote: Roycey, stay strong, my friend.

The GoFundMe page, set up by a pal, says: Ian is in desperate need of our help. He is an alcoholic and has taken his first steps by admitting so.

Online donations had already reached £6,930 of the £20,000.

Following an outpouring of support, Ian posted a video thanking everyone on Twitter. He said: I have to find somewhere to go, thats going to help me move forward.

I share this because men, it is good to talk. And talk I will, if it only helps one other.

My name is Ian, and I am an alcoholic. With a lot of s**t to get rid of in my head.
